Worst service in Winnipeg: Although the food is good, it was not nearly good enough to overshadow the terrible, rude service that some friends and I received on March 19th.

When we asked our server about the specials, we were curtly informed that it was our responsibility to check the board as she cannot memorize new specials every night. Had that been pointed out to us while we waited for 30 minutes in the entry way for our table, we certainly would have taken a minute to peruse it.She then forgot to bring our appetizer, did not apologize, but said that she would comp our drinks (one beer, one pop and a glass of water). When she brought our bill, had not taken the drinks off as promised and gave us nothing but attitude when we brought it to her attention.

From the moment we sat down, I felt as if we had somehow insulted this woman simply with our presence. She never once smiled, made any conversation or even made us feel welcome. She was condescending and blatantly rude.

Although we very much enjoyed our food, it was not enough to erase the bad taste that the service left us with. There are too many good restaurants in Winnipeg to waste time and money going to a restaurant with such offensive, careless and rude service. I would suggest Pizzeria Gusto whose pizza is just as good (if not better) and where the service is polite, curteous and welcoming.
