If you want to kill your childs confidence send them here: These are all based off my experience at Busy Bees Childcare in Brampton. I had a nightmare experience. I've talked to other parents in the neighborhood that children went and/or go there as well, none of which expressed positive feedback. Comments like: "It's ooookkk", "It's not high regarded like region of peel is", "The staff are friendly when you apply, then that's about it", "I keep my child there because it's convenient for me"...those are just a few (I asked around when things started going south). First of all, Busy Bees is located next to RBH aka. Rothmans Benson & Hedges cigarette factory!! Those huge smoke stacks you see to the right of Busy Bees are where they release all the toxins. I never knew that when I enrolled. And when I asked Miriam (Director) about the factories she said all the parents ask and she assures me they're too far away (not ever mentioning the discreetly marked building next door is Benson & Hedges). The staff at busy bees are not all bad, but some are cold as ice, I honestly do not know why those bad apples work there, they obviously hate their job. No patients and easily annoyed by children. The center is over stimulating visually, for adults and children in my opinion, even the "quite area" is overwhelming to look at. In the winter for the majority of the time, the children stay cooped up inside, instead of just putting on weather appropriate clothing and taking them to burn some energy. (we are in Canada, we know it's cold. But staying in always is ridiculous, just make short trips outside and don't be lazy). I've caught staff lying to me, or on occasions exaggerating. (If your child already goes there and seems to not enjoy it, show up unexpectedly one day and see for yourself). I noticed that when they're not noticing a child and something happens like roughhousing, they tend to just turn around and blame who ever did it. Seen that multiple times with other children but not my own, while picking and dropping off my child. I've never heard someone tell my child "they're bad" right in my face, what a way to kill their confidence. My child started telling me that they're a bad child, you can image how bad I felt. Only few staff actually spoke to me there, even when I addressed them. If I brought anything to the attention of a staff member who was not a friendly one, I was gentle blown off or completely disregarded. I never felt welcome, even though we never had any shortcomings. I would rush to pickup my child because I was scared that they didn't like my child and that's why they were never friendly with me, just fake coos and forced smiles. When I found other arrangements I removed my child. Going there killed my child's confidence. I feel bad that I ever brought them there in the first place. I wish I would've researched more, I honestly chose Busy Bees Brampton out of pure convenience, and I still left...

Do not send your children here!!!: Terrible location, terrible business. Children look out their classroom windows to view a "massage" parlor, the play next to BENSON& HEDGES tobacco manufacturing plant-they boil tobacco with the chemicals required, and emit toxic fumes, children actually smell of tobacco, their clolthes skin and hair. Don't wipe childrens faces, feed children food from other childrens unfinished plates, lie to parents, neglect children, high staff turnover, not good for children to feel stable, use as max number of co-op students allowed and then don't even supervise them with the children. Staff has left due to poor finances within company, ex-staff claims poor finances are mainly because of the financial strain of paying so many government fines for their constant infractions.<br/>
just an all around nice idea gone wrong - no children should be anywhere near here.
