Great Place to Stay in Sydney: I've stayed at another hotel during all my business trips to Sydney. Once time I called to find them sold out, so I tried CambridgeSuites. I am SO glad I did. The hotel is modern and clean. The room I had was very large and functional. This will be my first choice for a Sydney trips from now on.

Great Food at Trio's Restaurant Cambridge Suites: We were with a group of 12 who participated in a meeting at Cambridge Suites. The staff were very helpful and the luncheon and the evening meal were well above average. A very nice menu to select from. A very nice dinning room.

Thumbs Down.: A good friend of mine was back to Cape Breton for a visit, after spending months away working in Fort McMurray. We rented a beautiful suite at the Cambridge and settled in for an enjoyable evening of catching up. Approx. 11pm the 20 something individual knocked on our door and upon answering stated " Be quiet or I'm calling the cops" and walked away. Completely caught off guard by his condescending tone and threatening nature, I explained the situation to the other occupants of the room, to which we proceeded to the lobby to discuss the incident with a manager. The individual stated no manager was available and continued his belligerence, interrupting every word with statements like "This is not a party hotel" and "no. no. no. no.". He eventually walked behind a closed door leaving his co-worker alone at the desk. We explained to his co-worker we were upset with his attitude and lack of customer service skills and would prefer to take our business elsewhere. We canceled the room for the second night, packed our things and went to another hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, however that one individual tainted our experience. And to top the cake, we paid money to be treated that way. Next time I'll pay half the money to stay at a location that values their customer experience.
