one of the best restaurants in the city: not only in my mind but in the mind of many critics. it is constantly on the top 10 list of toronto life magazine, and for good reason. be warned, it's pricey.

Good Experience!: A few years back, my husband and I decided to eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the food was excellent and the service was perfect. They even cleaned the crumbs off our table after each course. The only thing, it was way overpriced for dinner for two...and we didn't even order wine!

Overall good experience!

"Every fish lover deserves a visit" to this "high-class" Little Italy Portuguese where the "selection of plates is intoxicating", the wines "remarkable" and the "quaint" setting full of "old-world charm"; sure, it's "pricey", but factor in "upscale service" with "zero attitude" and it's "so worthwhile", just "dress well – everyone else does"; P.S. the adjacent bar, Senhor Antonio, focuses on...

The exquisite fish, which form the menu's basis, are flown in from the Azores and Madeira. You might have monkfish, grouper, or peixe espada (scabbard fish)....

Local Portuguese families flock here for special occasions; the atmosphere is an old-world balance of sophistication and warmth. At its core, it's a great fish restaurant, thanks in part to the fresh seafood flown in most days of the week, with perfectly grilled sardines and pan-seared monkfish. The wine list is equally impressive, especially for those who believe Portuguese wines are plonk but...

Chiado is upscale Portuguese dining, with mains such as pan-seared filet of grouper, grilled octopus with sweet pepper salsa, roasted Australian rack of lamb, and specialty dishes with fresh fish flown in from Portugal. Superior choice for seafood dining, though probably not the place to catch Brazil vs. Portugal.
