Recommends this business: I like the team at DR. Comfort, they were courteous and clean in my home, and it being an older home needed a special air conditioner called "ductless". I chose a Keeprite model because it was the same as LG which I read good reviews about on line. This was my first consumer purchase for my new house in Toronto so I was very confused by the process. Dr Comfort did just that, made me feel comfortable at a good price (under $3000) so I was glad to choose them. Thats my review!

Long time customer...: I live right downtown on church street and I have four ductless ac's in my two apartments. The unit I have in my bedroom was oozing a browny kind of liquid that had hardened on the fins. Because it was so high up I could never clean the darn thing and it looked disgusting, my tenant said that anything could be growing in there and to get it checked out. A few weeks later we got a voucher in the mailbox for a 50% discount on an ac cleaning and that they did ductless ones as well. So I called these Dr. Comfort (great name!) guys and I had an appointment scheduled to get my ac's cleaned and ready for the summer. They were at my place (it was 2 technicians) for the afternoon and showed me where mold tar had taken hold inside the blower area. When they were done everything looked like new inside and out and seemed to be quieter running as well. I will be getting "the doctor" in every year now to make sure my ac's run clean and quiet! Anyway top notch in my books for the price...

Great job, great price, great guys: I worked in HVAC for a few years as an apprentice so I know the industry a little bit. The guys I talked to here are straight shooters and aren't looking to sell you everything in the warehouse when they meet you. I asked my guy Kal if I should change out the air while I was doing my furnace and humidifier last month and he said that I would not see a good return on investment seeing as my old unit is still 13 SEER. We did some quick math and found that I would take almost 12 years to get my money back with a new 15 SEER. By then I would need a NEW UNIT AGAIN. Very nice, I would have switched it out unless he brought that up. I thought high efficiency meant I would be saving more quickly than that. Classy move, now they have a customer for life and I have already referred family to Kal. Happy to review you guys too.
