In the same boat as Paul but with Doors: - Please note - this review is about the Windsor Location - I accidentally put it here under London. Honestly, our problem is with the factory and management, not local representation so I will leave it here under London with this disclaimer. Well, I cannot comment on the quality of the product or the quality of the installation - Why, you might ask? Because we are STILL waiting.
We signed on the dotted line for new doors at the very beginning of June 2010. We were told, 6-8 weeks which would put installation into late July. It is now September. The local rep that we were dealing with would at least call us back and try to help us - Unfortunately, management will not give us the time of day let alone return our calls. Although I want to be, we have not been rude, we have simply asked WHEN we can expect our doors. They have half our money and we are stuck in limbo. All we want is an actual timeline that we can count on. Is that really so much to ask considering the amount of $$ that we are spending? In addition, we let them know that we eventually would be replacing most of the windows in our house - one would think that by dangling a carrot, one might get some service. How is it that businesses cannot get it through their heads that you cannot just take people's money and not give them a clue as to when they can get what they ordered in good faith? The really interesting part is that our basement flooded right after we ordered the doors, we have now dealt with the insurance companies, refinished our entire basement, replaced the contents and yet we are still waiting on 2 doors. 3 weeks ago, we made several appointments to get quotes for a new roof, we now have a brand new metal roof installed and still we are waiting on these doors. Seriously?!!

Well done!: We finally bit the bullet and purchased our windows and doors. We are very happy with the product and installation. The boys were excellent installing the product and were very careful with our home. They cleaned up after themselves. We noticed right away how quiet the new windows are. The rooms appear to be a lot warmer too.
A good experience overall. We feel we made the right decision.

Ducana Windows: I have used this company many times and without a doubt the best company to deal with. I too got caught in there surge of business this year and my install was delayed slightly. They have always taken care of service in a timely fashion. There is no such thing as perfect but this company is pretty darn close. Will use again if need be.

Ducana windows: I would encourage anyone to use a different window supplier. We agreed to go with Ducana for our replacement windows in June and were told we could expect our windows in late August or September. I believe Ducana told us these dates knowing full well they could not honour the delivery date. We finally got our windows installed at the end of November, quite a bit later then was promised and a not an ideal date for replacement windows to go in. We do not seem to be alone in this as Ducana Windows has numerous delivery date complaints made about them on the better business bureau website. Furthermore, not all of our windows were delivered and we are still waiting for the installation of the remaing window. Lastly, we had high winds the last few days and we noticed a lot of air leakage around the windows, enough to blow out a lighter held in front of the window. The air leakage is around the vinyl frame holding the glass in place and not around the frame of the window, indicating a problem with the window not the installation. Ducana represents their windows as a premium product with matching price but I believe the windows that were replaced (22 year old wood frame windows) were actually more energy efficient. In my opinion any other window installer would be a better bet.
