The worst possible experience! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!: I went to Exclusive Auto Spa on April 8, 2013. I had a coupon purchased online for $40 or so dollars for car wash and auto detailing. I made an appointment online 2 weeks ahead. When I got there first thing in the morning, they made me wait 30 min and asked to pay additional $7. The car went for a wash and inside detailing. The quality of work was below expectations; however I was late for a meeting so I left without arguing. The coupon advertising included waxing - that never received. As soon as I left the shop, my radio was working funny. Sound from the speakers came on and off; all I could hear was static and hiss. The next day the sound stopped all together. I knew it wasn't the radio because the head unit was not playing CDs or auxiliary input. I checked the fuses - all was fine. I returned back to the shop the next week and spoke with the person who took my car in and performed the service. He acknowledged the problem right away, got all nervous, and called his boss. I was assured that the problem would be rectified. I left the shop waiting for the call back from the owner - Seth Mitchell. After a few days of silence I called back and left a few messages on their voicemail. Finally Seth called me back, completely denying any liability for the damages caused to my sound system. He recommended I take my to his "buddy" at the Firestone shop next door for inspection. I did not feel comfortable going to his mechanic, so instead I took to a third party shop that specializes in sounds systems - Ultra Auto Sound in Mississauga. My car (Lancer GTS 2009 with Rockford Fosgate sound system) was inspected by a licenced technician, and it was found that amplifier was burned as a result of water damage. The amplifier is installed under the driver's seat, and there were clear signs of shampoo and water. The amp was taken out for the repair. Burned amp also damaged the trigger, a.k.a. remote from the head unit to the amp to turn it on. So both parts had to be removed and send for diagnostics. Total repair cost was $400 plus tax. I called Seth Mitchel at Exclusive Auto Spa and told him everything. He started raising his voice and denying the fault of his shop. He asked me to fax him the invoice, which I did. I waited for his call back, but he never did. I called him again and again, leaving message after message. So here I am - car wash that cost me $500!
