Stay Away!!!: From what I understand Fix is a franchise so in no way does my review reflect on any of the other Fix locations, it is an honest and detailed review of the 296 Rutherford Rd S location. I took my vehicle to Fix auto Brampton on the tow truck drivers recommendation after being involved in an accident. First impression was nice, office was clean, employees were dressed in uniforms the whole outfit looked professional. When I arrived the secretary asked us to complete some paperwork, I must say she looked out of place tattooed and pierced all over, very unprofessional and frankly rude. Any how we did what we had to do and we reluctantly left our vehicle there solely on the fact that they were "Insurance Approved." BIG MISTAKE! After telling us the work on our truck would take about a week to ten days at day 14 we still did not have our truck back and we were on the verge of running out of car rental coverage. I called and spoke to the manager Marcelo Zunino, he was overly polite, he explained they were waiting on some dealer only items which were on back order, but I could tell by the way he spoke something was not right. The next day after work I decided to drive by and see the progress on my truck. Marcelo was not there, when I asked the secretary if I could see my truck, with a nasty attitude she told me I was not allowed in the shop. Furious I asked her to call Marcelo and tell him i would like to speak with him. After an hour he showed up with remnants of his lunch all over his shirt, when I pushed to see my truck he took me too my truck when I was shocked to see the rear axle grossly out of place. Considering that I was involved in a minor parking lot accident which impacted my front end there was a lot of explaining to do. Apparently my truck was being taken for an alignment (which I can’t understand because it was a minor fender bender and the wheels were not impacted nor were any steering parts changed) and when the employee was on their way back they were t boned while making the left turn into Fix' parking lot. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, not only did Marcelo keep this information from me he lied to me when I asked him what the delay was. If that wasn't bad enough he insisted I call my insurance company and put in a second claim and that way they would cover all the repairs. I could not believe this, they crashed my truck and they wanted ME to make a claim?!?!? After days of phone calls and going back and forth with Fix and my insurance company I ended up picking up my truck with my own tow, and taking it to a body shop one of my co-workers recommended. Worst experience I have ever had, and speaking with friends and co-workers I am not alone, so many people I talk to about this place have very few good things to say. One huge lesson I learned image can be misleading and insurance approved means ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!!!
