Poor Food and Average Service: Once a month my local club gets together for our meetings and we pick different places to go for our meets. From a recommendation from another member, we decided to visit Guildford Station Pub. Thankfully that member will not be making anymore decisions on where to eat in the future.

Having around 15 members in our club, parking was a pain as the lot is very small and the parking stalls are spaced out for compact cars. Most of us ended parking in the street and having to walk some distance.

Upon entry, we were greeted right away and our orders taken promptly. However, our server was as interactive as an ATM and we felt like everything she asked was a "yes" or "no" question rather than even slightly trying to see how we were enjoying our experience.

The best description of the food was lackluster. While it serves the typical pub fare and nothing special, presentation and preparation can make an average order seem extraordinary. There was nothing here that made anything feel special, and it's presentation and preparation was equivalent to that of a food bank handing out food to the needy.

We had orders of chicken quesadillas, chicken fajitas, steak bites, tiger prawns, clubhouse sandwiches and more. Amongst all of us we practically ordered everything on the menu, and in the end only the original member who decided to dine here was satisfied.

While the washrooms were clean, the service was quick, the décor was average and the seating arrangements were versatile, there is nothing that makes this pub stand out and nothing this pub provides that would want me to return. There are many other pubs in Surrey that are worth visiting to enjoy spending time with friends and family.
