In contrast to Hapa , this small basement restaurant, with a rather dramatic red-and-black interior, has served old-fashioned, straight-up sushi for more than 2 decades. Options for non–sushi-philes include tempura, teriyaki, udon, and soba noodles. Service is fast although not always attentive, but the restaurant is standard amongst the cheap sushi options in Vancouver.
