very dissapointed service.: By writting this to let all of you know be careful to check the bill when you go to kanata toyota for service.We have a very bad experience with them.my husband bring the car <br/> (2003 corolla)on saturday(february 6,2010)because he had an appointment to check the airbag light problem.When he got there,the service people bring the car in and check it.But he told my husband because of they don't have any access to the computer.So,please make another appointment and the service people is going to bring the laptop here to check your car(is not our problem if we make an appointment ahead of time and you don't have tools to check my car,right?).So,my husband asked him do there have any charge that i need to pay now,he said no.So,my husband book another appointment on February 13.When we got there,i asked the service guy how long is going to take to check the car,he said an hour.After an hours and 20 minute he told us our car had being check.(we bring the car in 2p.m,in the receipt that we pay by credit card show 3.31p.m when the service guy charge)and also explain the reason of the car.But he charge us $197 plus tax.We pay and ask him why he charge that much,he said because last time they forgot to charge.I checked the bill their labour rate is from $34.88 to $98.5 per hours.that mean he charge us for 2 hours maximum labour rates even he didn't use 2 hours to check ours car.because that day they have other customers are doing service to the car too.First at all,the service people should ask my husband or let him know if they are going to delay the charge until the next visit,second they should explain the whole detail before asking my husband to sign the paper.I have called the service guy and asked him,how if we didn't show out on February 13,how can you charge us an hours that you said in february 6 that you forgot to charge?He said but you are here.I asked him do you go to buy stuff and the store charge you on next visit?He said no.Not that my husband didn't asked on frebruary 6,he did ask how much he need to pay.They said no.But February 13,they charge 2 hours because the service guy said there have an hour is charge from february 6.I told him i want to speak to the manager,he said manager is not there that day.He is the only one in charge everything.i have told all this to all my friends also try to put a comment in the web site because is really bad to have this kind of experience.Hope that all of you will be aware of it too.
