Great Service!: Hello all! Just thought I'd share my good experience with Karmac!

I recently bought a 2009 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG...initially I was going to park it for the winter, but decided that I would drive it instead. I phoned the dealership that I bought it from for a price on winter rims and tires. I was shocked to hear that it would cost me nearly $8,000 for a set of winter rims! They told me that nothing else would work for this vehicle!

I called Karmac to see if they could do anything for me. I am so glad I did! They got me a beautiful set of 19inch rims with Pirelli Sottozerro winter tires for about $3,800! Not only are they 19's, versus the factory 18's, but they are staggered size as well - they are wider on the rear, so the vehicle has an impressive stance, compared to my factory 18's, even though they are staggered as well.

I'm extremely happy with the service and experience! I definitely recommend giving them a call...

Definitely recommended...: I have a 2008 BMW M5 and was looking for winter rims and tires a few weeks ago. I talked to both BMW dealers and was told that I could only use the packages they had to offer, and that nothing else would work on my vehicle. They also told me that a set of winter rims and tires would cost me $6,200 for 18inch rims!

I called Karmac to see what they had to offer, as I'd asked several colleagues in my office who they'd recommend. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they could offer me the factory 19inch rims with Michelin winter tires for nearly $2,000 LESS than the dealer's price for the 18's!

I will call them in the spring for my next scheduled service as well...

Excellent!!!: Incredibly happy with the honest and knowledgable service! I took my 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL55 to the Dealership to diagnose my transmission, as it was shifting hard - they told me I needed a new transmission at a cost of over $10,000!!! I promptly picked up the vehicle and booked it in with Theo at Karmac. After taking it for a quick drive, he suggested a simple transmission service with filter replacement. I picked up the vehicle and the transmission was PERFECT! A few hundred dollars to service the transmission and all is good!

I just called Theo for a quote on my next scheduled maintenance service, which turns out is nearly half the cost of what the Dealership was charging me!

I only wish I had known about this place sooner!

I definitely recommend calling Theo for a quote next time you require service or repair on your European vehicle!

Incompetent or Dishonest ?: This is just a word of caution for anyone with an import automobile who is thinking about using Karmac – the german Autohaus Ltd at 17304 Stony Plain Road in Edmonton for any repairs.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM

They are either grossly incompetent and do not know the first thing about repairs or they are complete crooks, perhaps a little of both.

Let me tell you my story.

A couple of months ago my 2005 Jaguar “S” Type encountered a power drain and the battery would die overnight. I tried to get it into Jaguar Edmonton but they were booked solid for a couple of weeks. I saw on Karmac’s building that they advertised they workd on Jaguars so I took it to them the next day ( maybe the fact that I could get them to look at it so quick should have been a tip off to their incompetence)

They kept my car for 8 days and during this time did nothing to it, they said they could not find the power drain and charged me almost $1,000.00 for keeping my car over a week and doing NOTHING. They even admitted that there were many days when they did not have time to work on the vehicle.
Last week I took the car into the Jaguar dealership and surprise, surprise they found the problem and fixed it in 2 hours at a price almost half of what Karmac charged for doing NOTHING.

To reitereate if you do not want to be cheated by a bunch of crroks

STAY AWAY FROM KARMAC
