Editorial Reviews
"It's all about flavour and freshness" at chef-owner Brian Fowke's "genuine farm-to-table" Kitsilano spot where he "makes magic" turning "local ingredients" into "innovative" Pacific Northwest plates fit for a "king" (with prices to match); the simple space includes a communal table, and "unobtrusive servers" contribute to the "neighbourhood feel."

Talented chef Brian Fowke unleashes an ambitious PacNorWest concept that changes its menu every day after visits to the market and from local suppliers (local octopus is represented well, as are Sloping Hill pork cheeks and Fraser Valley rabbit). The room intends to be airy and casually romantic, but it feels a little incongruously dressed with stemware and white linen.
