Good Food and Service: My family and I had a wonderful dinner experience at Memphis Blues on Commercial. Luckily we booked reservations ahead of time, as there was a massive line up just to be seated. The place is extremely busy and the servers are running around trying to see to everyone's meals. The service itself was very good. We ordered a large meat platter which was more than enought to keep all six of us busy. The price may seem high at first but there is a lot of meat on the dishes. This is a restaurant for people who enjoy their red meat. The food is great, from the ribs to the sausage and everything else in between. Also, their food isn't excessively greasy as other barbecue restaurants. The decor is nicely done and the washrooms are clean, but you really come here for the food and with everything put together this is a great restaurant.

Editorial Reviews

"Be prepared to eat until you fall over" at this "counter-service" BBQ chain where "true carnivores" satisfy cravings for "meat, meat and more meat" via "down-home" dishes including "tender" pulled pork and "beef brisket you'd sell your mother for"; the decor is "plain" and service just ok, but with "finger-lickin'" eats at "reasonable" prices, diners still leave crying "praise the lard."
