Enjoyed the atmosphere!: We dined at Moose's twice while in North Bay for 3 days at the beginning of September 2010. We had adequate service. The atmosphere was great! The first night we ordered an appetizer platter to share. It was all very good, especially the cheesy bread with bacon! MMMM!! Hubby had a club sandwich which he says was average/good. Our friend had a chicken ceasar which she (a local) said was a fave. I had the fresh walleye which was fairly tasty but very bony and I quickly lost my appetite after a few nasty pricks and crunches. The second day we went for lunch and both of us had the fish and chips. The fish looked like it had been cooked from frozen and really repeated on us later in the day. We did order the big appetizer platter again though and they substituted some cheese sticks for us for one of the other items so were very accommodating in that way. It doesn't particularly sound like it here but we came away with a good feeling about Moose's and will be back when were in town again!
