Absolutely AWFUL customer service.: Absolutely AWFUL customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in with my mother to look for a mother of the groom dress because we saw this absolutely gorgeous one in the window. They did have a great selection which was useful in taking our business elsewhere. We'd been in the shop for about half an hour when a saleswoman finally came to check on us/greet us. I asked if the dress in the window was hanging in the store somewhere and the saleswoman said "no". I asked if we could then please have the one in the window and she said "no". Confused I said "I'm sorry??". The saleswoman told me that the dress couldn't be removed from the window while it's on display but if we come back in a week or so it might be out by then. I asked her how someone was supposed to purchase this dress. She said “oh you can purchase it”. I said “without trying it on?! That’s completely ridiculous. That dress is the whole reason we came in this store.” Her snarky response was “we pay a girl a lot of money to design our windows. “ I said, “to advertise something you’re not selling!! What kind of business practice is that?!” She said, “we are selling it!”. I said, “not without someone being able to try it on!”. She, again snarkily, said “well I’m sorry, you’ll just have to check back in a week.” I rolled my eyes and said “ya, right” and walked away. My mother continued to try on the many dresses they had available, we wrote down the designer and item # of her favourites and she will now be purchasing one of those dresses elsewhere. It was completely unbelievable. It's not even as if the window was done up so elaborately that it would require any deconstruction - it was simply two mannequins with dresses on them and some rose petals on the floor. If you're going to advertise something it needs to be available. They could've had a second dress in store. Even if the woman had been apologetic and suggested some similar styles or booked us an appointment during which we could return to try the dress on in a week I would've been much more understanding. Instead she got snippy and rude and acted like my request was completely unreasonable.
