Disgusting employee behaviour.: I live in Montgomery. We received delivery of the paper on Nov. 19 in the afternoon. I watched as she walked through my yard instead of going around. I knocked on my kitchen window and when she looked, I signaled her with my hand, as in a cutting motion. She looked away angrily and shook her head. So I yelled out to her to stay out of my yard. She immediately screamed back at me that she has two kids and it's cold out so I told her to leave them at home next time. After her screaming at me and calling me a b@!%h I told her she was trespassing and she walked away and told me to 'kiss her a@s'. This last weekend, we did not receive a paper. The reason I do not want anyone cutting through my yard should not matter whatsoever. as it is private property and I have the right to privacy. But we do not have any eavestroughing up so the sun beating on the south side of the roof always makes a huge ice patch over the majority of the patio from the melting snow. I do not want this woman to deliver my paper again as I should not have to put up with her c@!p but I will not accept no delivery. This is my property and I have every right to ask her to stay off it without the abusive language. Her behaviour was disgusting for an employee.

Do you even have kids?: I was both puzzled and amused by the Sept. 6th article in the Saskatoon Sun entitled "Liven up lunch meals for adults and kids" The lunch recommendations for adults was fine, but the kids lunches? I really did laugh out loud. What were you thinking? That section of the article should have been entitled "How to get your kid's butt kicked in the lunch room." Smoked salmon pinwheel sandwiches with a side of homemade black bean and lentil soup. Seriously? Hummus...guacomole...soba noodles tossed with sesame oil and green onions...stop, please! Peanut butter for dipping and bags of nuts? Okay ladies, you’re busted! We know you’re not sending any kids to school anywhere with any of this stuff. But what an epiphany I had at your suggestion of fruit and veggies, perhaps some yogurt, maybe a muffin or a cookie for a treat…you can actually put that into a kid’s lunch? Eureka! Come on ladies, were not morons. Oh, here's a bit of free advice. If you do indeed have kids, and they are any older than 8, please do not lovingly tuck a mushy note in between the pinwheel salmon rounds and the hummus. School is hard enough. Sue Ramsay
