Bad experience: We were taken advantage of by the sales manager Craig Sabourin. He pulled a fast one on us and we have opened a file with AMVIC. They are high pressure sales, make promises then deny making them.If you feel the need to shop here, get everything in writing and witnessed. Better yet record the entire conversation. This is the worst experience ever. After we bought our vehicle, the service dept was unable to find the issue with the steering so it is not fixed. We now have a file open with CAMVAP over this issue. Leduc Hyundai is an upstanding dealership.Do yourself a favor and go there and skip SPH.

Stay Away: My experience with Sherwood Park Hyundai started off bad to begin with the purchase of my vehicle. They brought my jeep in from a dealership on red deer and tried to tell me the vehicle was listed at $42000, however I was able to go online and find the exact jeep listed at $38000 from the dealership they were getting it.

I has to confront them on this however if I had never looked online I could have easily been out a few thousand dollars more. Once I had bought the jeep from them they had to install a hitch as part of the purchase agreement. They attempted to install the hitch 3 times before they said they were done. Once I had the vehicle back and tested it, the electrical wiring was not working. I brought it back to them to have them fix it. They attempted another 2 times to fix it before they said it was a problem with the jeep and not the hitch they installed and advised me to take it to another dealership. Once at a jeep dealer they fixed the wiring so it would work, however while they were doing this they noticed the wiring that SP Hyundai installed was a very cheap hitch and was already rusting and corroding with uncovered wires underneath the vehicle. So I then called SP Hyundai and spoke with their Service Manager Jason who agreed they would pay for the bill to fix the hitch properly. Once the work was done and complete I brought the bill to Jason who then changed his mind that the bill of $980 was too big to cover and that he wants to get the Jeep dealership to lower the bill. In the mean time I am out almost $1000. I found that Jason was ignoring my phone calls and not returning messages. I had to drive to the dealership daily in order to be able to talk to him. On top of all that I am still here so that they can redo my 3M for the third time. I hope that they can finally get it right so that I never have to deal with Sherwood Park Hyundai again. By far the worst dealership from sales to service that I have ever been to. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM OR GO TO THEM FOR SERVICE.

Avoid this dealership!: I purchased a brand new vehicle through Sherwood Hyundai that was not operating up to factory spec. After 4 months of testing, they still to this day have not even solved one the issues that came up immediately. They constantly ignore my phone calls, my emails and give me the runaround. They ask me to do road tests, and when the results come back negative, they don't do anything about.

Extremely unprofessional. Avoid this place if you can.

Could I have my touchup paint WITHOUT the attitude, please?: Just short of a month ago, I called Sherwood Park Hyundai's parts department to order some touch up paint for my little car. The woman on the phone said it would be special order, here in two days, and someone would call me thursday morning to confirm that it had arrived. Perfect, awesome, done and done. So thursday morning, no phone call. Friday, no phone call. over a week later I finally gave them a ring to see what was going on. After waiting and waiting for a parts person, the woman finally took a message for me. I asked for someone to call me back, all I wanted to know was if my paint was in or not. after another couple days without a call back, I called back AGAIN, this time a little tweeked. I actually got someone this time, and explained the situation. I wasn't the most pleseant on the phone, I'll admit, I was really frusturated that I was getting such c@!%!y service from a dealer. Still, I never raised my voice or cursed. Found out the paint was in, so I went to go grab it today. Same woman I talked to on the phone handed it to me, and said in a very sarcastic voice "THERE YOU GO, MAM. HAVE A VERRRRY NICE DAY." a little thrown off, I asked where I should go to pay for it. Again, the attitude. "NO, JUST HAVE A NICE DAY."
So sweet, I did get my paint for free, bonus for the c@!p service. But did I really deserve the attitude? I've been in the automotive indstry since I've been 14, and I have dealt with a LOT worse than a slightly grumpy teen girl, and I'm sure she has to. I won't be coming back to PMS city, thats for sure.
