Not Worth the Wait: I used to have lunch here but only of I could order ahead an hour. Then once I missed the opening of a 8 pm play when me and some friends came into the place just before 6 p.m. This isn't relaxed dining - it's just lousy service. I gave it a last try (because an out of town guest had read all the hoopla on tripadvisor) and fortunately she agreed to give up after 20 minutes without even giving our order. We went to an east Indian restaurant nearby that was great. Goodbye Spicy Greens! (Oops - forgot to add - the food is satisfactory but nothing to get excited about).

Great food and kind service.: The food is authentic and fresh made upon order. There is no frozen dish that comes " fresh" from the microwave. No wonder it is rated #1 in PG on Travel Adviser. Eat exotic food without leaving town/or country! And YES, it takes a bit of time to cook. Enjoy and relax.

Slow and Over-rated: If you go to the Trip Advisor website you'll find this Sinhalese hole-in-the-wall right at the top of PG restaurants overall - don't believe it! It certainly wins for the slowest service in town. Hands -down. I've seen the place half empty and still watched as incoming patrons sat for 10 minutes to even to get a menu, let alone give their order. Some of the food is great (I like the wraps with spicy lamb filling) but I've also had mediocre appetizers served literally with ketchup. Why it gets so much raving oin Tripadviser is a matter of speculation - I suspect that there is some reverse snobbery about the plain-jane interior, something that makes people feel that they've stumbled on a real hidden gem. To the contrary, I would steer anyone looking for cuisine of the Asian subcontinent elsewhere in the city.

Honestly the best food in town. There's spice suited for everyone as well, mild, medium, or hot!
