Knee Brace: My daughters drove me to Starkmans. I came out 10 minutes later, they asked me why I didn't get a brace. I was already wearing it. Super service, I was fitted with a wonderful brace at a great price. My brace was 90.00, but is about 130 to 150 at other health supply stores. Great if you don't have insurance as I don't, the prices are very competitive.<br/>
Really important to have parking in front of the store, and very accessible by TTC.

Very bad customer service!: Purchased a walker at Starkmans. Whereas most places will loan you the walker until you get reimbursed from the government, Starkmans' insists you pay up front. It took almost a year to get my money from Starkmans. Not to mention at least a dozen phone calls to staff, some of whom have no clue about reimbursements. When cheque was lost in the mail, and a stop payment was made by Starkmans for cheque # 1, they insisted I pay part of the stop payment fee! Will simply never shop there again, and absolutely do not recommend going there unless you are certain you will not need to deal with them any further after your purchase.

Terrible Experience: My wife went in to buy supplies for a hip replacement. We purchased many things, including crutches which they said she needed. Returned the crutches in the original shrink wrap packaging 14 days after surgery. They said they would charge me a $20 rental fee and the manager refused to talk with me about this. Not customer oriented.
