Description
Japanese in the middle of Little Italy is a welcome contrast to the dozens of restaurants on College Street. Sushi Island is a place of moorage for your boat. For those not tantalized by raw fish, there’s always the option of teriyaki and tempura.

All you can eat heaven: Best to go with lots of people for the most variety! The portions are pretty big, so if you order off the all you can eat and want lots to choose from, you better be hungry! Can't beat the prices.

Good Sushi and selection: I love that this place has the same prices regardless of time and day and that you can choose what you want to eat which is reflected in the price you pay. The decor is a little strange (obviously a greek restaurant conversion) and it's not the comfiest but definitely offers some great food.

Yummy in my Tummy!: Sushi Island has the best All You Can Eat Sushi deals....and I can eat a LOT! You need to try the white tuna sashimi and the maki is fabulous. It's so fresh and so inexpensive!

Sushi Island FTW.: In Little Italy, there is no better all you can eat sushi. I frequent this place for their all you can eat lunch. It is $11.99 and the maki is phenomenal. A west coaster, I'm a huge fan of salmon and the grade that they use for even their rolls is quite high. The spicy salmon is well balanced and among the best I've ever had. There are many "alternative" and fusion rolls. Also, there are quite a few brown rice rolls that make a nice addition to the menu. Concurrent to their rolls, the menu has the usual Japanese appetizers and teriyaki, which are quite good.<br/>
There is a good appreciation of aesthetic and the atmosphere and staff are friendly. The wait time between ordering and receiving is quick. Overall, I would say that lunch at New Sushi Island is a win.

Sushi Island in Little Italy is popular for their all you can eat sushi deals. If you can get past all the complicated rules (such as everyone at the table needs to order the same thing; or the deal cost extra $$$ on weekends) you'll probably be rewarded with some tasty maki or sushi pizza.
