Oldest Place in the city: Over 121 years old. I remember going when it was a meat market for students near by. Pitcher of beer was 12 dollars and everyone in the place was drunk. <br/><br/>Now they've spruced the place up to make it a lil classier then a meat market. Still a hang out for students but always a few older people in the place to. <br/><br/>Great place to have fun and think about your parents or grandparents just might have partied there too!

Affectionately known as the Brunny, this cavernous historic tavern (it dates back to 1876) is a favorite of University of Toronto students, even after an extensive upgrade in 2005. It boasts 10 draughts on tap, and the joint is jumping on Thumpin' Thursdays, thanks to cut-price pitchers. "We dare you to party where your Dad did" is their clever tagline.
