The decor here is very rustic and food is served in cast iron pans. If you visit them for breakfast you have to try their delicious Waffle Chicken, which is a rare combination of sweet waffles clubbed with marinated chicken...

yummylicious: I heard a lot of buzz about this place and since it is a ten minute walk from my house I decided to give it a try. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my husband ordered the brisket and we split fries. The fries were amazing. Cooked perfectly and from very fresh potatoes. The pulled pork was good, but a bit dry for my liking. The brisket was fantastic. It melted in your mouth and the flavour was unbelievable. It's also pretty big so it is perfect to share. The place is small, but there are plenty of parks in the neighbourhood where you can eat to your smoked goodies. This is definitely going to be our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking!

Editorial Reviews
Fans "can't rave enough" about the "brilliant fried chicken" at this Hillcrest-Davenport joint also turning out other "tasty" BBQ classics courtesy of "fast, friendly" servers; a "cramped diner counter" and general "lack of seating" can be an issue, so many opt for takeout; P.S. no alcohol.
