Terrible. Stay away. Not even deserving of one start: Please. Do yourself a favour and do NOT even consider going to Vikaspa. They are terrible. They have very questionable & unethical business practices.

I bought one of those teambuy vouchers last March (2011) for Vikaspa. The "earliest" appointment I could book for both my friend and I was 6 months later (I called in June and could only get a December appointment). I was advised that they had no other availability.

2 weeks prior to my appointment, I called and left a message advising of my upcoming appointment and that I was inquiring about how much would it be to book a RMT . They never returned my call.

The night before my appointment, I received a voicemail message from Vikaspa advising that they were under renovations and had to cancel my appointment because they were "closed". The voicemail also stated that they would be contacting me in the new year to rebook my appointment when they are up and running again.

My friend, who had her doubts, called them the next day to book us for the exact same services (mani, pedi and massage) for that day. The first question the receptionist asked was whether or not she had a coupon. My friend advised no, and the receptionist advised that they were fully open and would love for us to come in. My friend then confronted the receptionist and advised her that she already had the same services booked for the very same day and was advised that they were "closed for renovations". The receptionist had nothing to say except that she was told by management to cancel our appointments and to make up the excuse of being closed for renovations, and if we had any complaints, to bring it up with management.

I've been trying to book an appointment ever since and they won't return my call. Our vouchers expire next month.

I know of two other people who have had the very same experience - had their appointments canceled last minute due to being closed for renovations and Vikaspa not returning their calls to rebook.

I have yet to contact teambuy for a friend but intend to do so soon. One of my co-workers has already contacted dealfind to get a refund.

Please stay away from this place to avoid getting scammed. I've never had such a terrible customer service experience. I am so appalled by their unethical business practices that I don't understand how they are still in business.

Interesting concept but have tough competition in area: The concept of having the entire house as the spa is intriguing enough to try it. Service was very friendly, massage was good. However, to justify the Yorkville price, the experience should be near perfect if not perfect and it just wasn't. Layout is awkward as the exit from the change rooms for men and women's washroom join up so if you're in a state of somewhat, undress, it's unnerving to think you could bump into someone else in a state of undress. There's some tough competition in the area: plenty of places that are either better priced or provide a better overall experience.
