excellent selection of fair trade organic tea: I went here yesterday for the first time because of a recommendation of a friend. I was glad I did! We were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable owner of the store, Phil. He has a wall where you can smell each tea which was a great way to narrow down your choice. It is a locally owned business featuring almost all organic teas. They are an environmentally friendly business too, the only thing they have which produces garbage is the tea cup lids! impressive. I will be back again.

Great Tea, Great Staff: World Tea House carries a big selection of teas, most of which are organic and Fair Trade. Their cups are compostable, (even the clear plastic-y ones!), and they make the effort to make sure that everything they use is compostable or recyclable. I love supporting local businesses with great ethics like that!

As for the tea? Well, it's fantastic! Black, Green, White Red, Matcha, Pu-erh--you name it, they probably have it. They also do some amazing tea fusions, far beyond the Chai Latte or the London Fog. I highly recommend the Chocolate Chocolate Monkey, made with rooibos tea with bananas, cocoa nibs, apple, and pink peppercorns, steamed milk, and organic fair trade dark hot chocolate. It's decadent and only mildly caffeinated (due to the chocolate).

They also have a great teaware selection, form $4 infusers to high end tea kettles that will boil water to the perfect temperature for any cup of tea. The treats are also local!

This is my home away from home.
