not the best service: great atmosphere but the staff tend to be too social with each other and forget the customers

Acceptable beer, lousy service: Nice building with a good atmosphere. Some of the beers are very good, and the food isn't bad either. Too bad the evening was ruined by an excessively rude bartender. Even the other staff seemed embarrassed to be working with him.

Every Sunday, all pints of brewed-on-the-premises beer are C$4.50 and pizzas are C$8. The excellent beer is complemented by an extremely cozy room, a great summertime patio, and a good appetizer menu.

Consulting chef Andrey Durbach's menu tweaks mean comfort food like barbecued wings, burgers and pizzas get the gourmet touch but still remain affordable. Specialty in-house craft brews...

The redesigned brick-and-beam interior sees modern accents like Tiko Kerr paintings, ponyskin barstools, and reconstituted butcher block tables while maintaining the heritage feel. Comfort consigliere Andrey Durbach (La Buca, Pied-à-Terre) has punched up a...
