The Rubino brothers are at it again. Executive chef and Made to Order co-host/producer Guy and his brother Michael — who brings the business and design savvy and also produces Made to Order — have replaced hugely successful Rain with a new Japanese venture with Charles Khabouth (Ultra, Spice Route, Tattoo). Amazing Sashimi: My girlfriend recently celebrated her birthday at AME. We came for dinner, which was really good, the sashimi was cut perfectly and it was super fresh - possibly the best I've had. The venue has a lounge / club type feel after dinner hours, and it fills up pretty quickly. The music was great and we had a really good evening!!

Sushi To Die For: My girlfriends and I went to AME for the first time a couple of Saturdays ago, and we were all really impressed. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and super yummy, dinner was excellent!! We stayed for more drinks and great music afterwards. The place gets packed, the crowd was awesome, mature and dressed to impressed!! You must go here for dinner, you won't be disappointed!!

Hidden on Mercer Street, in the space that used to be home to uber pricey Rain, it's an emporium of neo Japanese chic and eastern exoticism. Upon entry, we leave the outside world behind and step into a completely different universe with no windows. Inside, the restaurant is a harmonic balance of wood, stone and concrete. The...
