Poor Customer Service: A terrible experience at this store.We took our Miniature Schnauzer in for a groom. They completely shaved her chest, clipped off one side of her beard - didn't even bother to do the same to the other and they made us pay for "flea shampoo" even though she had just one or two bugs in her fur (Total Cost $80). We were not happy and told them so - they suggested we come in to fix it to which my wife replied, "you can't put fur back on can you?" Instead of leaving it like that we tried to negotiate a fair settlement such as a discount which the owner flatly denied even for our next visit. Well done. All 300 people at my office 3 blocks away heard about it!

Truth Revealed...: And again, yet another employee of Bark and Fitz. I am the resident dog groomer at this wonderful establishment and I wouldn't groom anywhere else in the city. I was taught my skill out west in Vancouver, and to be fully honest, working at Bark and Fitz is the best grooming (not to mention dog store!) experience I've ever had. Working with Christine and her staff has given me a whole new view on dog ownership. The love and care they show each client is remarkable and when I started they welcomed me with open arms! I've been very happy ever since and never had a problem with anyone there, least of all Christine. She is such an amazing woman and I can't even imagine how anyone could talk about her like in the previous review from Patrick. She's done so much for me and will go out of her way to make sure everyone gets taken care of, even when it's not Bark and Fitz related. She shows nothing less then professionalism and I think people need to review their sources before posting such a harsh review. Karma's a pain when it comes back to get you. Also, to add a side note, I have never heard Christine talk bad to or raise her voice in any aspect, especially to her staff.

Defamation Much Patrick?: Let me just start by saying I am also an employee at Bark & Fitz. I've worked with Christine for two years. She would do almost anything for a customer, or an employee with out being asked because she genuinely cares about them.<br/>
Patrick you should be careful when fabricating information about people you don't know at all, based solely on the information provided by your slanderous "Friend".<br/>
All of Christine's employees with the exception of your friend have worked happily at Bark & Fitz for nearly 2 years. Most retail stores have much higher turn over, and I'm sure much lower job satisfaction.<br/>
Christine Greening cares for the people who work for her and treats them like family.Her enthusiasm for what she does is infectious and it makes me very passionate about my job, my place of work and the people i work with. Because of this we feel like a family and we are a very strong team, which is why none of us would let some one try to ruin her name with out defending her. Patrick what you have posted here is purely fictional, incredibly petty and is also Defamation of Character. If you're unclear on the definition look it up; and think before you type.

Nothing like it!: I love Bark & Fitz. My dog and I were walking along the street a couple of summers ago and his nose lead me right into this fabulous store! I was greeted by the owner who made such a fuss over my dog, it took me forever to get him to leave! He's an Aussie named Breton and it turns out she has a Sheltie named Scotia, so there were lots of connections. We've been dedicated Bark & Fitz'ers ever since! I loved the decor, the products, the quality food, her and her staff's knowledge of various breeds, nutritional needs, etc...why shop anywhere else?!
<br/><br/>She has a great groomer who is really good with Breton, and I love that its just him and her during his appointment and he's not stuck in a crate all day before and after he's been groomed. Because I live and work downtown, I greatly appreciate her value-added service of food delivery within 5Km of the store. She helped recommend a few local vets her customers rave about. Its just a good place to go for you and for your dog!
