obviously needs competition to clean up: My son loves this place-BUT I hate taking him there. It has gone so downhill. Nothing has been done to it since it opened. It's DIRTY and RUNDOWN. The structure matting and netting is all ripped and open to dangerous areas. Some of it has been 'stiched' up with sharp zip straps. There's food and god only knows what else in the bottom of the ball pit. The bathroom always smell worse than an outhouse. When I was pregnant I couldn't even go in there without holding my breath because I would gag so much. The games are the ancient ones from the family fun centre and always 'eat' tokens. My 3 year old leaned on one last time we went and the case flipped right open to all its wiring because the lock clip was broken off. My niece and son were playing with a broken off pole handle sort of thing in the play area and when I took it away and looked at it-it was a sharp broken metal and foam pole that someone had written 'ribbed for sex pleasure' on with a black marker. I gave it to the staff and they seemed to think it was humourous. They do daycare there, and when its play time they let the kids go wild and don't watch them. I saw two daycare kids punching eachother in a full on fight on the floor while the staff were gossiping by the concession. When you leave your clothes hair etc smell of deep fryer because they don't vent it properly..the food is over priced and greasy. The birthday area upstairs is extremely dangerous. I have seen several kids standing on chairs along the wall. If a kid went over they would almost certainly be dead. Birthday parties with young children are usually crazy, exciting affairs so I can definately see this happening one day. This place is an embarressment to take people from out of town to. I could go on..but I just wish they would do some renos and clean up their act because kids really do love this place and I wish I could enjoy taking mine there. :(

How does this place survive?: This place used to be great but over the years it has become overly expensive and not worth the time. Lazer tag has never changed and is quite small. The main room is really just a giant mcdonalds playground that also hasn't changed. The arcade games are rarely working and not worth the price of admission.

Not Good Value for Your Money: I admire and am puzzled by this place's longevity. It's expensive to go to and, once you've paid to get in, the free attractions are really not a lot more than you get at a McDonald's while playing the other old fashioned arcade games (like bashing gophers) will cost you even more. Your kids will get quickly addicted to winning tickets that will eventually get them some super cheap and probably dangerous Made-in-China little trinket, something you could have bought for 25 cents at a dollar store. There is laser tag which, I confess, I've never tried but heard that kids like it (so I squeezed out a second star).<br/><br/>Oh -almost forgot - the concession food is costly and uninteresting.
