Description
Baldwin Street is known for its intimate cafes and fine French dining amid an eclectic bohemian neighborhood just north of Chintown. Of them, La Gaffe stands out as one of the best. Particularly fabulous are the pizzas. In the evenings mellow out to a jazz soundtrack and enjoy a bottle from the rare wine list.

Information from the business
Around the corner from the AGO, on the cusp of Kensington Market and tucked into a storefront, is the casual, easygoing Cafe La Gaffe. Sincere as the church pews that serve as banquettes, it's filled with people discussing with gusto the last word in theatre, art, or politics. Some come to drink cups of Mocha Java, most come because they appreciate the food.
