A Great Place for Kindergarten Readiness: My child loves this daycare and its teachers. They use a Reggio approach to child learning, which best suits my little girl. Childhood Discoveries now has a daycare and preschool facility, both of which are located within an elementary school. I really like the fact that the staff there communicate well and work closely with the elementary school's teachers. This good rapport has led to several joint activities, including a Reading Buddies program (where an older student reads stories to the daycare children one-on-one), having Grade 4 students volunteer their lunch hour to play with the preschool kids, and other activities where the older student acts as a positive role model. Childhood Discoveries is excellent in instilling kindergarten readiness in their children.
