A "small and sweet" cubby of a bar, Ossington's "hidden watering hole" dates to before the 'hood got hip but retains its "tacky-chic" vintage decor; it draws "hipsters" and "young locals" who pick tunes on the eclectic jukebox and chat up the "welcoming" staff over an affordable "beer and shot."

Not the easiest place to find (look for the Nazare Snack Bar sign), but well worth the quest. A tiny laid-back spot with Formica tables, it possesses one of the city's best jukeboxes. There's excellent live music on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (jazz and country, respectively).

Incognito boite is packed like a can of sardines. Lack of light feels like being in a Blackout but with beer. On that note, know what you want because it will be difficult to see it on the chalkboard. It's easy to eavesdrop amongst conversation central of the student and indie crowd. Otherwise, chill to the jukebox or nosh on popular pickled eggs.
