"Step into a bit of England" at this "lovely", "country-style" pub in Nanaimo, whose traditional British ambience (think "dark woods" and "large stone fireplaces") has made it a "favourite" since 1974; the requisite pints, "excellent" tavern chow and "restful garden seating" add luster, as do moderate costs and live music.
