Look around first: Get all the information first, especially if you need a fifth wheel hitch, they sold me the most expensive kind, and overcharged me 1,500-1,800.00 dollars. If your a female look around, and find out everything first. These people are not the ones to rely on, or trust.

Run away from these guys: I brought my 2008 ML550 in to have a hitch and electrical connections done. I had spoken to them on the phone, described in detail the make model and options involved since I had looked on-line and hadn't found an after market hitch to fit. I was assured they had one in stock, I again stressed the options (air-ride) involved and was told they have it, and maybe if there was some additional fabrications involved they would get it done. I booked the appointment for first thing in the morning and dropped off the vehicle. 5 hours later I called and was told they could not fit the trailer hitch, there were no after market hitches available and on Mercedes had one. BUT they said they had done the hitch wiring. Disappointed I went in to pick up the vehicle at 4:30PM. I looked under the vehicle to see where they had routed the wiring only to find no wiring. I then opened the back up to find 4' of wires, wrapped in electrical tape, squeezing out from between the left side storage cover and lying across the inside of the cargo compartment.
I went in and asked why the wiring wasn't done to a factory level and was told that was better for corrosion, and when I wanted to hook on my trailer I just had to pull out the wire and close the rear door over it. We then walked out after I voiced my complete and utter displeasure and opened the side cover that the had routed the wires beside only to have the whole cover and storage compartment fall off into the cargo compartment. The wires had the simple .05 blue clip on splicers attaching them to the factory wiring and the whole thing looked like a child of 5 had done it, there was nothing neat, tidy, clean or visually pleasant about it. I know something about auto wiring and given the hours they had to do the job I easily would have done a better job.
They agreed to remove it completely which they did. Of course now my rear parking sensors don't work but I will have that attended to by someone else. My issue isn't that they couldn't install the hitch or do a proper job on the wiring, my issue is that they said they could and instead of telling me they weren't experienced with my type or model of vehicle and stopping, they went ahead anyway and ended up doing harm to the operations of it.
I'm not sure if this Surrey location has a new owner, but I brought vehicles in here 10 years ago and always was pleased with the result. Maybe my standards were lower then. But if you have a vehicle that you don't really care about the aesthetics and only want function, these guys will do it.....maybe. But if you're looking for a factory like installation with hidden wires and soldered connections I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

are you kidding me?: Came in to get a hitch installed, and to get a price on a spare tire mount. Was told that the fabricator doesn't talk to the customers in the mornings, especially when it's raining. Realy, thats what I was told at the office counter.I thought they were kidding, but I was wrong. These guy's are a joke. Needles to say I left, never to come back...
Call that customer service????
I will spread the word.....

In response to Wave: Hi Wave. I guess people should hear both sides of the story. You came in with your own part to have installed on your vehicle. The part turned out to be defective to begin with. A blown convertor box if I remember correctly. This took a while to install but we gave benefit of the doubt and have a flat rate install on most supplied parts. Now through that manufacturer we can't warranty the product as you bought it through them. However you do receive a 1 year PART COVERAGE warranty so they did replace it free of charge (which is what is to be expected). We installed the first part correctly to manufacturer specifications and now we had to install a second one. We did not supply the part to you so it was not our fault that the product was defective nor should we assume blame/responsibility for said defective product. Our employees do not install for no charge. We are sorry you were given a defective product but we will not assume responsibility for it as it was NOT our product. It was tested the second time as multiple installers had assisted with the second installation to ensure proper functionality. We are sorry that you were inconvenienced but again we will not assume responsibility on a defective product if we did not supply it. We have done thousands of custom/factory wirings on vehicles and on products we have supplied and installed have NEVER had a problem with replacement of a defective product. Thank you and have a good day.
