Love this place: I don't know if everyone on here has had bad experiences because they're bad customers? But I've had nothing but good experiences here. I get movies/games a couple times a month and have never had to take anything back. Customer service is good and everything.

Rip off artists!: Beware these guys. They sold me a broken system and when I took it back, they exchanged it with another broken one. I live a couple hours away from any of their stores so it's difficult for me to get there to do something about it. Still trying to resolve the issue a month later and they're being very unreasonable in helping me settle this.

Getting worse - never trade games here: This "business" has a long history under different names in Niagara (i.e High Score Entertainment).
It was a good business then. It has steadily been of less and less value to the gamer. Maybe the owner and his second? obese wife are reaping the dirty money. (Note: Revenue Canada, if you read this article audit this business ASAP.)

If the games are ones that everyone has had and beat, you can get a deal, too bad most games are overly "resurfaced" and lack instructions. All used games carry only a TWO WEEK warranty period - talk about lack of confidence in their product. The unique or rarer games have prices that would make a preacher swear.

The store has a quiet habit of revising their trade in value list. The list looks identical until they do the math - dirty poker in my book.

The store is geared to appeal to the average 14 year old gamer with all the signs and circa 1990's underground graphics. I can understand why my friend who is older than me at 28 is ashamed to be seen in there, but has nothing but praise for the professionalism and courteous staff at the "other" mall franchise (EB/GS).

I would be very wary of discount cards and any pre-payment reservations (if they have them - that's probably a bit complicated for their staff) because of a persistent rumor that has been circulating amongst a competitor's Canadian division. it is in the realm of Bankruptcy due to over-extention (new unproven stores), competitor takeover, or the strong arming of suppliers who provide new releases to EO , i.e. (competitor talking: if you supply EO you will lose our worldwide account).

Its a new year (fiscal?) so watch out people!

Rosenthal,
Never shop here.: Never once have I or any of my friends had a good experience here. They rip you off constantly and sell you broken items. I recently purchased an ipod here and they said that within 2 months I could get a full refund. Should've known that when it didnt work, they would only offer me a store credit without mentioning that before. As if I would ever want to buy anything from that piece of **** place. Oh and not to mention the broken iPod that I purchased is cheaper for a brand new one at walmart. Do yourself a favor, don't shop here for basically anything.
