Description
Quaintly situated in a most unlikely residential street steps from Yonge Street, Matignon is an out-of-the-way find just waiting to be discovered. The classic French menu (slightly modified for North American palates) includes the house specialty, roast rack of lamb with dijon, parsley, and herbs of Provence. Redecoration plans include a red-white-blue color scheme (after the French flag).

Editorial Reviews
A bit off the beaten track, this small restaurant has intimate rooms festooned with all things French. The crowd includes many regulars, and the ambience is that of a low-key bistro. The short menu is filled with classics from the old country, including Angus steak rolled in crushed pepper and flambéed with cognac, and rack of lamb with mustard and herbs of Provence.
