Looking for assistance, don't waist your time, bunch of crooks protected by lawyers: Filed a court case. Aviva purchased a company who will bring the business down. All they do is close and deny your file. Forget about the assistance. Waist of your hard earned dollar

NHW like health care system: We had issues with our new home. We found numerous problems and spoke to our contractor several time but he never returned to fix the issues. We then decided to go through the National Home Warranty. I have to agree with the previous review, these guys seem to do whatever they can to get out of covering a claim. They even post on their website that if an agreement can not be met between the builder and the owner to fix the problems then it must go through the legal system. Like any of us have the money to take our contractors to court and fix our homes. I also found that the NHW likes to refer people to HPO (Homeowners Protection Office), who of course just refers you back to NHW?? I personally found the whole experience very confusing and frustrating. If I can pass along any advise to new homeowners it make sure you hold back a deficiency amount when purchasing a new home and don't release it until you are satisfied because the government agencies are most likely never going to help you. Also, make sure you read the fine print of NHW since there is a lot of stuff realtors think is covered but its not. Good luck.

National Home Warranty Goal to close the complain file: Who cares about customer satisfaction . We can tell you it is not National Home Warranty. to close the complain file they call warranty problems :design issues" It is the easiest way without putting any efforts in to their obligation and advertising. To missled superiors it another way to deal with the customer concerns. There is no excuses for the way the buisness is run. Company cannot be trusted.
