Saved me $1000.00 on my 208 Tucson: Had been to other dealers with a noise issue and my clutch didn't work. Another dealer replaced it on my Tucson, but never fixed the problem. I went to Openroad Hyundai on the suggestion of a friend and asked for the service manager. He sat in my car and diagnosed the problem in their drive way. Turns out a bolt was missing from my clutch pedal. Kudo's for their effort to find and fix the problem, not the symptom! Well done OpenRoad.

Like Getting Kicked in the Face Repeatedly: STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

If you must buy a Hyundai be sure you you are willing to get it serviced somewhere else. The technician at Open Road Hyundai are dedicated to taking your money and nothing else. They recommend replacements when nothings wrong, they tell you to get it serviced more than any other car I've had, and there service is of the lowest quality. Either they have the problem or their cars do, so avoid if possible. Don't be decieved by the good ratings on magazines, long term wise, their cars are one of the worst; this is based on the number of services and replacement parts I've needed after year one to six.

MOST IMPORTANTLY

Open Road Hyundai technicians are poor communicators, dishonest, and irresponsible, to new a few things only. They don't tell you anything specific about whats wrong with your vehicle, they expect everyone is an expert...so why would we go to them to get it fixed? They will generally lie to you to not get into trouble. After a service I discovered a large amount of paint burned off the gas cover, of which I will bet my life on wasn't there beforehand, and I went back to talk to them. All they would give me are excuses and a bunch of hypothetical things that could have happened. The answer they gave me was that it was due to wear and tare...then how come my door handle isn't the same way? It was obviously a chemical that they used that did the damage. They also said they noticed beforehand, but then why didn't then tell me or advise me on what to do? I was just sitting in the waiting area when they did their inspection. In the end they just don't take responsibility for their work if they can get out of it.

Even after six years of service they accused me of lieing. I've never had worst service. After paying more than $1500 on this one service, all I get is a damaged car. I'm going to sell my Hyundai car as soon as I can, I advise everyone to do so too, otherwise you will just be left feeling wronged.
