Don't ever go there: Unhappy!
We were at Oriental Harvest on Sunday August 01, 2010 at approximately 1pm. We stopped by there to pick up some Sugar Apple. It's one of the many fruits they have at this particular stand and it was a pretty good deal. They had a couple of specials on. The one we took was the 10 Sugar Apple for $20. We decided to try a couple out because our friend had never had one before. He started peeling away the shell and when he was half way through, he noticed a maggot. He continued peeling and noticed a pile of maggots. We brought it back to the salesman and he tossed it out and gave us another one. We started peeling a second fruit out of the bag and the same thing, maggot infested. When back to the salesmen and he again gave us another one. The third fruit we peeled, the exact same story. At this point, we were mad, and just wanted our money back. We went inside to the cashier and asked for a refund, and she denied it. She told us that we had to go back outside and ask the salesman for approval first. We went back outside, and he told us no refund. He'll give us another batch of fruits, but only 7 because the special sale is over now. We told him we just wanted our money back, but he refused and started to get mad. He was mad at us because now he can't sell the ones were bringing back because the fruits were peeled. We told him that they had maggots in them and he said "it doesn't matter, you should choose better".
The argument went on for about 5 minutes, but in the end he still refuse to give us our money back. This had to be the most digusting experience i had ever had. There has to be something that can be done to a store like this. The customer service and rudeness is beyond words.
