My Italian Holiday: We planned our first trip to Europe a year ago, scheduling a stay in Italy at La Casella. Our plan was to visit my grandparents countries of Italy and Germany. Alfter arrival at Munich, we drove to Bavaria and stayed in that region for a week. We then drove from Oberstaufen ( near the border of Switzerland ) to La Casella. La Casella is located in Umbria region of Italy. The drive was beautiful and worth the time, guided by mapquest, michelin and a navigation system in the car the route was pleasant and uneventful. The people along the way were friendly. In addition, there are these great coffee bars along the roadway.

We were welcomed by the staff as we arrived at la Casella. They immediately escorted us to the site for dinner. Dinner is served with all the guests. The food is excellent italian dishes served in stages or courses. local wines were excellent. The accomodations known as apartments, consist of spacious living space, kitchen area, bathroom with shower and bidette, and in our case a spacious bed room. The apartments are spaced throughout the 450 acre countryside. La Casella provides a relaxing atmosphere in the Italian countryside, with an easy drive to Fabro, where we arranged for regional train tickets to Florence for one day and a two day stay in Rome. Each commute was direct and within an 1 1/2. Upon return La Casella offers a spa with jacuzzi, sauna and turkish bath with accomodations for a variety of massages and other relaxation therapies.

The reception area, coffee bar and dining areas are in the main area, next to the spa, with fireplaces throughout. The staff are very friendly, accessible and acommodating. There is an equistrian school on the grounds, which offer riding classes and riding sessions. During the warm season, there is a pool and outdoor activities.

We look forward to being able to visit in the near future and would highly recommend a stay at La Casella, you can enjoy the Italian countryside and visit nearby towns, eg. Assisi, Siena and Orvieto or arrange for a visit to Rome or italy by rail. Stefani was most helpful at the Fabro rail station to assist with travel arrangements and schedules.

This is a solid company. Watch out for false reveiws!: Please watch out for false reveiws of Point to Point Destinations, there may be a group thats trying to get money from them, they are writting FALSE REVEIWS all over the place.....they do this through key relevence words such repeating the full name of the company over and over in their review....they are experts at it... The reviews---THEY ARE NOT REAL--- its about getting money. We get lied to a lot, it kind of p@!%!s me off, how about you? Up until that group started there were practically no negative reveiws on the net at all; if you actually take the time and do proper due diligence on the company----the company is solid, its been in the same location for 15 years, Canucks sponsor, an A rating with the BBB, Point to Point is a good company, I know many happy owners...

I am a Happy Owner: Signed up 6 months ago and happy so far, We've only been one one vaction so far---to London, which was nice, we had a 2 bedroom condo in the Odessa Wharf area, which was really nice. Everything they said to us at the presentation is true so far- so yes I am very happy that I became an owner. As far as the free gifts for coming to the presentation---the trip to Vegas is thru ODENZA and not Point to Point so don't blame Point to Point for your unhappiness with the "free gifts." Nothing is free.....even freedom isn't free.... For our gift we got a $100 Visa for coming which was totally free, I don't know if they still offer that however.
