Seafood done right!: I was amazed at the choice available at Aqua Mare! I love the Jean-Talon market and this place is definitely a gem. It's right on the corner so you can get to it easily, and they have everything! From oysters to lobster to calamari, it's all great. Definitely recommend it for your fresh seafood but also great for a quick bite if you're in the area (the calamari is amazing!!)

Fresh food, Good Service: Around Christmas I was looking around for ideas when I found out that this place had a catering service. Before making our big order, we order some samples to bring home and try, they were delicious. We finally decided to go for fish, Aqua Mare has a chef in house, and not only the taste, but also the presentation was really good. Our christmas eve supper was a success everything was fresh and the taste was really good.<br/> This saved me so much time... and everyone liked it!!!!<br/> I am definitely going back there!

La qualité et le service ?: Après avoir acheté des moules à Aquamare, je les lave et les trie, puis je les mets dans la casserole. Très vite, une odeur nauséabonde et forte s'en dégage.. Mes moules ne sont pas si fraîches que ça !<br/> Le lendemain je reviens à la poissonnerie pour les montrer comme convenu lors d'une conversation téléphonique.<br/> Et un type en chemise noire (Walter de son prénom) me demande avec un bon air condescendant :<br/> - Vous savez les préparer ? <br/> - Oui oui...<br/> Puis il en prend une au hasard (le sac ne sentait vraiment pas bon, à moins d'être enrhumé ou de mauvaise foi) et la mange. Et il me dit avec un sourire forcé :<br/> - Pour moi elles sont très bonnes.<br/> Il va même pousser l'affront jusqu'à en donner une à un autre employé et lui demander s'il était bonne !<br/> Puis finalement, après nous avoir bien fait passer pour des idiots, il part en arrière-boutique nous en chercher d'autres... que l'on a refusées parce qu'il faut arrêter de prendre ses clients pour des imbéciles !<br/> A bon entendeur... je préfère aller à l'autre poissonnerie, oh, certainement !
