<br/><br/>Whether it matters or not to you I thought I would send you this e mail, and explain why I will never set foot in a Sears location again.

I purchased some merchandise off your on line catalogue, it was easy and convent and I have done it before without any trouble, so I couldn't imagine having any problems this time. I was wrong!
<br/><br/>When I received the goods a few days later I tried the items on. The 2 pairs of sneakers fit great but the 3 shirts didn't. I lost the receipt and threw the bags with all the rest of the information out, so I thought I would check with my Sears store and see if there was anything that could be done. I was hoping to exchange or return the the 3 shirts.

The lady at the catalogue counter advised me to send and e mail to home@sears.ca and they would provide me with a proof of purchase, I thanked her for her help and went home to send the mail.
<br/><br/>After sending 3 e mails on the 12th 13th and 14th, and having no response I decided to call the 800 number for help. That lady advised me that I could take a copy of my Visa statement since that is how I paid for the goods and a refund/exchange could be done. Today I went back into my Sears location, told the first lady about what had happened, showed her my proof of purchase from my visa and waited for an answer. She was not familiar with doing exchanges/returns without a receipt so she called over the department manager, that is when things went bad. The manager proceeded to tell me she had no proof from my statement what I had purchased ,it could be 5 things or 1. She then told me to e mail the same home@sears.ca and get the confirmation, for which I told her I had done with no answer. I then told her what the lady from the 800 said about the visa statement and she told me that wasn't their policy. The manager then turned around and walked away with no more concern for what I had to say.
<br/><br/>Needless to say I am very angry for her dismissing me and not so much as trying to help with a resolution. I have shopped at Sears for years and because of this experience will stop doing so. Basically for a total amount of under $80.00 the cost of the 3 shirts you have lost hundreds of dollars in sales. After the experience I had today I decided to give the 3 shirts to someone that they will fit, and I went to Zellers and Marks Work warehouse and spent the $200 dollars I was going to spend at your store. I am in sales and run my own design business, and I deal with the public everyday, needless to say if I treated my customers the way your manager treated me I would no longer be in business.
