sub par diploma mill with zero scruples!: I was enrolled on the community support/outreach worker program last autumn, The fees were ten thousand dollars. During the six weeks I was there, I was humiliated on several occasions by the instructors over having a strong proviincial english accent.<br/><br/>For example, on one occasion I was singled out to read out a list of over a hundred words to the rest of the class, several of whom laughed each time I pronounced a word in a way that they were unfamiliar with. Confused and upset, I queried this with the tutor, who readily admitted that he had signalled me out............but his rationale was that he wanted to acquaint the class with british english. <br/><br/>On another occasion, a different tutor remarked to the class that everybody in the room spoke English..." except for David".............referring to me. The class laughed and I felt ashamed, seeing as English is my first language. There were people in the class from all ethnic groups, some of whom had a limited command of English, but they were never treated in this manner.<br/><br/>There was also another student who presented as being of limited IQ. instead of the tutor being patient with her when she misunderstood something or wanted further clarification, she repeatledly humiliated her..........<br/><br/>Furthermore, the quality of the tuition was poor and the course content was over simplistic. I eventually left after 6 weeks, as I was dissatisfied with the whole set up. However, the college kept my fees and despite my pleading with them to be fair and that my wife and I had a very low income and that she was still in the recovery process from having had chemotherapy and a mastectomy for breast cancer, they laughed in my face and kept the money. <br/><br/>I cannot stress this too strongly...........please do not get mixed up with these people. They are purely in it for the money and have absolutely no compassion for the people they profiteer from.<br/><br/>Be especially aware of the grooming process, whereby you are interviewed and made to feel like you are truly special. This courting process continues until you have signed on the dotted line...........once you have committed yourself, the red carpet is very rapidly pulled away, leaving you with a very sore bum and large debts to pay. Private post-secondaryy!!!: i was enrolled at stenberg but was kicked out because of a bad test i didnt cheat or anything i simply failed because i had alot on my mind from my sister being in the hospital....they took my money which was $13000.00 and wouldnt give it back always go to a gov't funded school never get sucked into private cause of short wait lists!!!
