Description
Bar and live-music venue owned by Shaun Bowring (of Sneaky Dee’s fame) is also the home of the popular Wavelength music series—a showcase for emerging indie bands. The mid-sized club holds around 350 people and feels spacious yet intimate. A dark, laid-back seating area in the front opens up to a larger stage and show bar in the back. Mon.-Sat.

Live Music Venue in Little Portugal: Although this place is in serious need of a makeover...I did have a great time watching Jordan Venne and the Slizneys rock the house. The Garrison often features local artists, Dj's and has some great accoustics to back it up. The washrooms are all the single stall unisex kind, which makes for much shorter waits and much cleaner washrooms. There is a decent amount of seating and alot of standing/ dancing room. The Garrison also has some more obscure but tasty on tap selections. Try the Pumpkin Lager or the Cameron's Auburn Ail..both yummy choices.

Since opening in 2009, this club has quickly become a valued member of Toronto's live music scene. A mid-sized venue (capacity 350), it sports good sightlines and sound, and has a separate bar area up front if your ears need a break. It is co-owned and booked by scene veteran (Sneaky Dee's) and former rocker Shaun Bowring, and concentrates on local and visiting indie rock bands.
