Terrible!!!: We purchased our crib, mattress, dresser, stroller, and many smaller items at West Coast Kids in Richmond before our baby was born. They seemed nice and somewhat helpful in store, but as soon as you pay they are done with you! To my surprise when our furniture finally arrived as we were opening the box to the dresser screws were falling out and the dresser top was damaged. They claim their products are top of the line, but for the price you pay you could get the same quality elsewhere. The dresser draws don't even close properly. Very poor quality. When we contacted West Coast Kids they immediately were not helpful. To make an extremely long story short, after many phone calls on our part, we finally received the new dresser top a YEAR AND A HALF LATER. Not once did West Coast Kids call us to let us know what was happening. I had to call a few times and then someone would finally get back to me. They kept telling me different stories and different managers had different things to say. As we ordered the conversion kit for our crib there as well we were told that they would deliver the dresser top and conversion kit together when they arrived as we have gone through so much hassle with them. Of course when these products FINALLY arrived they did not deliver them and my husband had to go pick them up. The service is absolutely terrible in this place. If everything goes well then they are fine, but if you need them for any issues after a purchase they are horrible. Considering you don't get to see the exact items you are ordering this is a huge risk to take with this company. I spent close to $5000 dollars at this place and the service we got was so awful. They obviously do not value their customers. I have never written a review for anywhere before, but I feel so strongly about all the trouble we went through at this place I feel parents should be warned. I will never step foot back in this place again. If I could have given it 0 stars I would have. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT!

poor service: Incredibly disappointed with the customer service at this store. Ordered a Canadian made product and received one made in China. Their response was to "allow" me to purchase a more expensive product! Sorry I spent my money there once, It won't happen again. I would suggest parents find products for their children anywhere but here.

West Coast Kids: Dishonest and incompetent: We bought bunk beds there 18 months ago. They were supposed to be made in Quebec and the box finally arrived after 14 weeks (instead of the 6-8 weeks promised) with "Made in China" all over the box. Plus there were no slats; the guy at the store sent me over to IKEA to get some. Plus the safety bar was broken. After waiting for several weeks to finally get the replacement piece we just gave up and told everyone we know that this place is a disaster. And every time we call the store, there's no record of our account or our order for a replacement bar. Total disaster.

Do not step a inch in this place!!!!: I'll start saying some of the girls that work there are very sweet. That is all thats good now on to the bad:<br/><br/>They have the weirdest return policy, its practically a contract, There is a girl named lana there that made me sign it when i ordered a crib. At that point I was kind of scared to order anything, but did it anyway. I was told by her that it would only take 6 to 8 weeks to get it in. Well it took over 12 weeks! When I went in to cancel my order. The girl told me I couldnt and then I over heard them saying that they forgot to order it. So later on the manager, Robyn called me to "sort" things out. Tried making herself seem like she was the victim here, by switching her words around to make me look bad. She pretty much just made me feel like sh*t. But offered to give me free delivery for the inconvienence. When my order came in (3 weeks later) first they forgot to call me, second, Robyn denied any of the free delivery that she, herself offered me. I had to fight with her once again. So conclusion of the story: I ordered a crib, took 5 months to get it in my nursery, and Robyn (the store manager) is a inconsiderate B, and only wants your money, does not give a care in the world about you. I suggest you shop somehwere else, these people wont help you !
